"Cassie" was my first exposure to the Modern Shetland Pony and she made me completely addicted.  She has more attitude, fire, motion, and intelligence than any pony should have.  She trots like a talented Modern should and the first thing I did with her was break her to drive.  Many thanks to Cathy and Kelsey Bowers of Country Classics Pony Farm in Iowa for entrusting me with this fun mare.  She is the biggest attention hog I have ever met (what a PEST!) and has that Modern trot that I love.
